The Illustrated Media Story
Illustrated Media started in a Canberra gym, watching talented athletes pour everything into their craft — and then post grainy phone clips to Instagram. We knew the work deserved more.
Our mission is simple: every athlete deserves to look elite. Doesn't matter if you're playing U14 rep or trying to break into semi-pro — your story should be told the right way. Shot the right way. Edited like a campaign.
We're a small Canberra-based team, deeply embedded in the local basketball scene. We shoot games week-in, week-out. We shoot brand sessions. We've helped athletes land college looks, grow their following from zero to thousands, and build the kind of media presence that makes recruiters click.

Canberra-born and basketball-obsessed. Lachlan founded Illustrated Media to give local athletes the kind of media usually reserved for the pros — game coverage, highlight reels, and brand shoots that actually move the needle.
Behind every frame is a deep respect for the grind. He shoots the way he watches the game — looking for the moments most people miss.
